Classes at Melton and Martlesham Heath

One to One Yoga Coaching

 

Hatha Yoga classes are suitable for beginners, returners and experienced students. We teach classical Hatha Yoga with postures, breathing techniques and relaxation. 


Our regular classes are now happening online
New classes starting shortly - let us know if you are interested in yoga online!

Tuesdays at Melton Burness Rooms from 1.30 - 3.00pm

The Yoga Sutras

There are 5 types of mental activity.  They may or may not cause suffering (5)

Thee five are:

Understanding, Misunderstanding, Imagination, Sleep, Memory(6)

Understanding is correct knowledge based on direct perception, influence or the reliable testimony of others (7)

 

Tadasana – finding the centre line

Plane pose 

Virabhadrasana II = Warrior II into

Extended Angle Pose

Anjaneyasana – the crescent moon

Bhujangasana – the Cobra

Ardha Matsyendrasana – the half spinal twist

 

Alternate nostril breathing – without placing the hands on the face

 

Guided physical relaxation

One to one Yoga coaching is good for getting started with Yoga and for progressing your own practice too.  


Individually tailored sessions also mean that you can tackle those tricky postures or improve your breathing techniques so that you get the most out of your regular classes.


Come and enjoy Yoga at the Woodbridge Complementary Health Centre where we have a lovely, bright room overlooking the garden with plenty of space to learn more about postures, breathing and relaxation.

 

Or bring a couple of friends along and enjoy exclusive Yoga sessions designed just for you!  3 or 4 friends can join together and share the cost.

 

4, 6 and 8 week programmes are available and I offer one-off sessions too.  I'm based at the Woodbridge Complementary Health Centre  on Monday afternoon and Wednesday evening, the Natural Health Centre in Woodbridge on Monday morning and at Ned Wombwell Osteopathy in Melton on Thursday afternoons.
